Do Others Affect How Much Money You Make?

July 25, 2022

A client’s business was doing great when suddenly her success screeched to a halt with only one completed transaction in nearly six months!

Being someone who looks on the positive side, she regularly reported having several deals that were pending or appeared to be sure bets. However, it turned out that each one fell apart for one reason or another.

To top it off, she gave several, well-received marketing presentations that were supposed to bring referrals but didn’t work out.

While talking about it during a 1:1 session, she connected the dots.

Her momentum stopped the same month she became the leader of a church group that helps the homeless.

In addition to their poverty thinking, she noticed that the conversation of her volunteer group always drifted into drama about their own lives.

Add to this a new boss who complains a lot, motivating my client to schedule appointments so she and her manager are together in the office as little as possible.

At the end of her session, she realized she had to take better care of her energy.

Three days later, she shared the following. Instead of driving with others to do their charitable work, and thinking about butterflies and rainbows to tune out their whining, she took care of herself by driving her own car.

She said, “We have to guard our energy as if our life depends on it, because it does.”

The following day, only four days after her aha moments and after months of setbacks, I received her enthusiastic voicemail.

“I want to let you know it has been a fantastic, fantastic day.”

  • “I met a client last night after we got off our call. He submitted all his documentation immediately, and he’s ready for approval.”
  • Another client of hers had a significant issue that miraculously got resolved, so his deal is moving along.
  • Another woman’s deal is now in the process of closing, too.
  • Plus, she received a call to present to 35 professionals in her target market.

She ignited her momentum by releasing other people’s negative energy and being more attentive to taking care of her own.

“Get rich; that is the best way you can help the poor. And you cannot hold the mental image which is to make you rich if you fill your mind with pictures of poverty.”

Wallace D. Wattles, The Science of Getting Rich

Poverty can come in many forms, such as money, spirit, focus, associations, confidence and beliefs.

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t associate with people who are experiencing challenges. However, be aware if you are vibrationally aligning with their condition instead of allowing them to shift into one that’s more beneficial.

Pay attention to the energy others are weaving in your life. How can you take better care of your energy? What unseen energy of others might be taking a toll on you and your finances?

Wondering what to do about it? Ask your Essence. It has your “soulution.”

With gratitude,

Virginia

Money and Telling a Guy I Didn’t Need Him

June 6, 2022

When you chase after people and money, they run in the other direction.

We met by chance when he was house hunting, and I just happened to be outside a home that I bought but hadn’t moved into yet.

After our brief meeting, he purchased the house next door because he created a fantasy about the two of us getting married.

This sweet man desperately wanted a woman.

Even as time went on, he didn’t have an interest to know me, my beliefs, what I do or if I cared about him. I was “nice,” and that’s all that mattered.

He so needed to feel loved. It was really all about him.

Needy people try to get fulfillment from something outside of themselves that they haven’t found within.

When he put serious moves on me, I told him that I didn’t need him.

I then learned that he heard this before when his ex-wife said the same thing on her way out the door.

I didn’t say it to hurt him. I’ve learned to guide my life by choice not neediness, especially when it comes to relationships.

Eventually, he found someone in a place of hardship who literally needed help. They got married, and he moved.

I see them on occasion. Now that the crisis has passed, they don’t look too happy together.

Whatever you chase after, because you need it, runs in the other direction.

This can appear to be a brain twister, but follow along because it’s a key to life.

It’s the reason you can have good relationships and, well, everything.

If you want or need a relationship, it means you don’t have one. Energetically, something’s missing. Lack attracts lack. You’re left wanting but not having.

However, when you come from a place of having, you attract more of what you have to you.  From an energy perspective, it doesn’t matter if you actually have it. The key is that you have the feeling within that you do.

It’s the same with needing business or money. If you need it, you push it away.

You can have anything you choose, as long as you don’t want it.

I told you this can be a brain twister. The more you get it, though, changes your life for the better.

When you want something, you’re sending out the energy of lack or not enough, what you don’t have.

Lack energy implies what you want is out there somewhere, but you don’t have it. You’re incomplete. So it will always be out there somewhere.

Ever run after a child or pet? They run the other way.

Ever have someone want you and chase after you? You feel like running and hiding.

Your goals and money will run away from you, too, if they’re out there somewhere and you’re chasing them.

Do you choose to want more or to actually have it?

This isn’t double talk. Consider it this way. Wanting and having are opposing energies.

You can’t drive forward and in reverse at the same time. At best, you’d go in circles.

The way out of this conundrum?

Let go.

To break free of self-sabotaging habits is why I created my Liberation of Lunacy (LoL) technique…  because we’re all a little crazy when the ego takes over and fills us with fear, anxiety, neediness, limit and doubt.

Instead of needing more money, business, time or a relationship, come from a place of “all your needs are met beyond your wildest expectation.”

That’s a first step in letting go.

Today is your day.

Total eclipse.

Ready to have your life eclipse for the better?

Claim how.

Be sure to include having fun and living with gusto!

Escaping Financial Collapse

April 18, 2022

Be like a powerful river going around obstacles,

A woman came to me on the verge of closing the doors of her office and working from home instead. The economy had taken its toll on a once thriving business, and fear had taken its toll on her spirit.

Recently she shared a story that demonstrates her attitude that turned her business around.

Her company had been courting a prospective client. Although they liked her and what her company brought to the table, in the end, they didn’t want to leave their current, long-time vendor.

The staff grumbled about it for a few minutes and then returned to work. As she sat at her desk, she shook her head and said to herself:

“OK. We’re obviously not supposed to have this contract. I’m letting it go, and something better will come.” This was a departure from her old attitude of worry, fear and images of doom that would have consumed her.

As she clicked the Send and Receive button, an email appeared offering a contract which is now bringing her company three times more profit than the one that turned her down! Although only 1 ½ months into the year, her company surpassed her $250,000 first quarter goal and is bringing in $355,000 with over $150,000 in profits. What a dramatic shift from before when business was at its last gasp of survival.

By the way, her motto this year is Divine flow. Let “stuff” go.

She also learned that God is her supply, not any one person or company. For example, she expected a big client to come through with a contract. She kept waiting and getting frustrated and more desperate.

When she let go of her expectation and opened up to other possibilities, opened up to the idea that her supply comes from a divine source and not from anyone in particular, then business poured in from many directions.

A year later the big client still hasn’t come through, but her business is flourishing. Without the panic and struggle, she was able to float to the surface of the quicksand of chaos, and success greeted her.

It takes practice to choose to trust instead of giving our power to fear.

Being groomed since childhood with the habit of fear, I’ve had a lifetime of observing the sneaky ways it shows up. My life became shipwrecked when I allowed myself to be seduced by its siren calls.

Eventually, it became harder to hold onto anxiety and easier to let go and trust things will work out – regardless of appearances. I decided to give up worry because it just wasn’t working for me. And when I let go, miracles happen.
