Do This Instead of Trying so Hard

November 18, 2019

allow-open-to-receive

Have you noticed that when you push to make things happen, try hard to get something, have to have things work out in a certain way or feel desperate, what you want eludes you or is hard to get?  Other times, often when you casually say you want something, it appears effortlessly.

If a door opens by allowing it to come toward you, pushing against it only closes it more.

The same principle applies to creating your ideal business and life, too.

Imagine this. If someone is chasing you for business, to be their friend or lover, what are you inspired to do?

Run. Far away. Or, because I’m inspired by watching an old TV series Gunsmoke, “get out of Dodge.”

Your dreams and goals are here, now, waiting for you. Be willing and open to receive them.

Recently while out dancing, my friend and I met a man whose company we were enjoying. We liked the band and learned that he hired them to play at his birthday party at his beautiful, country home close to where I live.

My friend whispered to me, “Let’s get an invitation.” I tuned into the idea and felt it would be fun. Within five minutes, he invited us without our saying a word to him about it.

Earlier that night, amidst a sea of people at a month-long event held on six acres, I found myself face to face with a former client. I’d been thinking about reconnecting with her as we hadn’t talked for a couple of years.

We enjoyed catching up by phone the following day. At the end of our conversation, she inquired about my current business offerings. Poised to launch a new direction in her career, she’s ready to let go of limiting beliefs that could hold her back.

She’ll start her program with me this month.

Right place. Right time. Right energy. In the flow. Great results.

No struggle. No trying. Being a magnet for intentions and good things by relaxing and being open to receive.

Note: this is 180 opposite from worrying about what if things don’t work out.

Life is magical when we allow it.

We’ve been trained to think no pain, no gain. Do more. Work harder.

Yes, actions can produce results.

Releasing is one of the highest and most effective actions. This means letting go of anxiety, doubt, fear as well as limiting thoughts and emotions. It’s like a tuning fork emitting a vibration; this frequency naturally harmonizes with complementary notes.

Relaxing and trusting open us to inspired action which allows success to occur naturally.

Your action has nothing to do with your abundance! Your abundance is a response to your vibration. Of course, your belief is part of your vibration. So if you believe that action is part of what brings your abundance, then you’ve got to unravel that.

Abraham-Hicks

TIP: Stop Trying so Hard. Start Allowing.

In Soulgoals’ masterminding, we set our intention for success by saying: I choose and I am willing to receive this or something better. Then we state our goals.

You can do this daily by writing or saying this phrase followed by your goals.

Supercharge your intentions by accessing mastermind energy.  Ask for and allow support from a Divine Source, God, the universe, whatever works for you.

Some have had tremendous success by looking in the mirror daily, masterminding with the Divine, stating the above intention followed by their goal.

Be open and willing to receive.

It works.

Experiment, and you’ll experience.

Go with the Flow or Let the Flow Go?

April 1, 2019

This week, I received a card from a client and friend that said, “Go with the flow” with a lovely handwritten sentiment inside. While wondering what to write this week, I thought I’d enjoy sharing this concept.

However, when I went online to find related ideas, I was intrigued to find quotes like this:

“If you decide to just go with the flow, you’ll end up where the flow goes, which is usually downhill, often leading to a big pile of sludge and a life of unhappiness. You’ll end up doing what everyone else is doing.”
― Sean Covey, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens

Ah, he’s writing to teenagers, so that makes sense. Sometimes they’re just going along with their peers, which might lead to the lowest common denominator. Going with that flow may not be the best choice.

Here’s another:

“Is it better to go with the flow or let the flow go?” Aidan Chambers

What if the flow is you thinking about things that aren’t working for you in your life or business? This flow will keep you regurgitating self-defeating beliefs.

Herein lies a core question. With which flow are you going?

I expand on this idea in Lesson 2 of my Soulgoals program:

First, what’s the mastermind energy? There are seven Soulgoals’ Mastermind Principles. Here are three of them.

Mastermind Principle #1. I believe there’s an energy created when two or more gather in harmony…

Mastermind Principle #2. I trust that the mastermind energy can and does manifest goals I choose or something better…

Mastermind Principle #5. I choose to be in divine flow, surrender control to the mastermind, and focus on the present moment.

Choose to be in divine flow

Life consists of flows of energy. Which flows do you follow?

If you tell a policeman you were speeding because you went with the flow of traffic, you’d get a ticket.

Do you go with the flow of conversation with people who gossip or talk a lot about their problems?

When you choose to be in divine flow, you allow the universal energy and your spirit to take you beyond the daily chaos and ego’s desires.

Divine flow elevates you to a zone beyond fear and resistance, to be at peace with what is. You relax and release fixed ideas of how you think your life should go by knowing there’s a bigger plan in play.

Go with the Flow or Let the Flow Go?

It depends on which flow it is!

What Stem Cells, Your Success and Relationships Have in Common

February 25, 2019

Neurons from Stem Cells

I just finished watching a nine episode docuseries on stem cells, “The Healing Miracle: The Truth about Stem Cells.” Although available now for those willing to look past the often prejudiced knowledge of naysayers, stem cells are the future of mainstream medicine because of their quick effectiveness and safety.

In my super simplistic, layman’s interpretation, healthy stem cells are injected into an area of the body in need, because of pain, aging or injury. The stem cells send a signal to neighboring dysfunctional cells reminding them that they can get their act together and be healthy. (I told you this was simplistic.)

Here’s a technically accurate explanation. By the way, if you go to this website, they have cute pictures to describe the process.

“Cells can detect what’s going on around them, and they can respond in realtime to cues from their neighbors and environment. At this very moment, your cells are sending and receiving millions of messages in the form of chemical signaling molecules!

“Cells typically communicate using chemical signals. These chemical signals, which are proteins or other molecules produced by a sending cell, are often secreted from the cell and released into the extracellular space. There, they can float – like messages in a bottle – over to neighboring cells.

“Cell-cell signaling involves the transmission of a signal from a sending cell to a receiving cell.”

https://www.khanacademy.org/science/biology/cell-signaling/mechanisms-of-cell-signaling/a/introduction-to-cell-signaling

Let’s switch gears to a metaphysical approach on signaling – why what you think about others affects them.

“We cannot focus upon the weaknesses of one another and evoke strengths. You cannot focus upon the things that you think they are doing wrong, and evoke things that will make you feel better. You’ve got to beat the drum that makes you feel good when you beat it. And when you do, you’ll be a strong signal of influence that will help them to reconnect with who they are.”

Abraham-Hicks

Let’s connect the dots by taking this another step.

  • Cells communicate to each another by sending and receiving signals.
  • Focusing on others’ weaknesses and what they did wrong can’t make them strong or you feel good. However, “a strong signal of influence” “will help them to reconnect with who they are.”
  • As cells, including your own, can send healthy signals that can be received, and we send signals in relationships that can strengthen others and us, it makes sense that we’re sending signals to our cells, ourselves and others about our self-concept. Whatever thoughts and feelings we signal impact our success and relationships.
  • What signals are you sending about your self-concept? Success or failure? Your answer is a clue to why your life is the way it is.

In Soulgoals, we begin masterminding for our goals with this phrase:

I choose and I am willing to receive this or something better.

First, you make a clear choice. What is it that you want? What do you choose?

Then you must be willing to receive it. Your ability to receive is dependent upon your self-concept and what you’re telling yourself.

A client told me it made sense that her thinking and feelings could create money.

It surprised her to discover that she could stop debilitating migraines on command.

What stops our ability to receive and respond are hidden beliefs. One of the many ways they reveal themselves is when we reply with “Yes but.”
You control your success and destiny.

Everything is given according to your belief.

NEED BUSINESS? MORE MONEY? – PART 3

June 16, 2011

Life is energy and consists of frequencies. When you see the best in and for others and treat them that way, you help them broaden their perspective and see a positive image of themselves. This lightens their energy which attracts better results.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 19th century German Renaissance man and writer said, ‘Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being.”

Higher frequencies, such as those created with empowering pictures and feelings, magnetize similar energies. When you recognize your unlimited potential and feel anything is possible, illusions of limitation and fear dissipate like the morning fog.

Others can give you the same gift.

From the Resolved for Results Course

Masterminding is ancient

Napoleon Hill popularized the term masterminding in the early 1900s in his classic book Think and Grow Rich.  However, it’s been used throughout the ages from Jesus and his disciples to Bill Gates and Paul Allen who created Microsoft.

At its core, masterminding is the coordination of knowledge and focused attention born from people gathering together in the spirit of harmony with an intention to serve a definite purpose.

Benjamin Franklin formed a mastermind group called the Junto in 1727.  The results? Our first:

  • Library
  • Volunteer fire department
  • Police department
  • Public hospital
  • Paved streets
  • And the Universityof Pennsylvania.

I consciously began masterminding in 1995 when I facilitated my first success team which used support, brainstorming and accountability. It worked. However, when people didn’t do what they agreed to, their issues soared as their self-confidence nose-dived.

I discovered that when people move forward in the direction of their dreams, they run into the beliefs that hold them back. If they don’t have a crowbar to get out of the crash, they get stuck there.

Can masterminding impede success?

Manifesting works best when feeling self-confident, deserving of success and believing you can do it. But when I watched a college professor shrivel and slump like an eight year old on her own sofa in her own home because she didn’t complete her assignments, I realized why she limited her results.

Over the years, I observed this phenomena countless times. I knew there had to be a way to bypass the emotional sinkholes that people fell into.

The way was revealed to me at a time when I was stuck and DETERMINED to overhaul my life.  I was resolved to change my income, my business, my weight, my house, the struggle, everything – I had had enough. Oh yeah, and I was ready to have more fun, too!

I needed new tools to build a new world for myself.

I didn’t need brainstorming (although it helped) only to be discouraged when things didn’t work out the way we discussed (which seemed to be my norm).

I didn’t need accountability (although it’s a great tool) because an idea often nudged me to actions other than ones I committed to. As I didn’t know where my guidance would take me, I felt that following it was avoiding action I agreed to do. And when I didn’t meet my commitments, I felt like I failed.

I needed to trust myself, see myself succeeding and feel empowered so I could accomplish my goals. It didn’t matter if I worked my plan successfully as long as I felt I could do it and took action. Then, if plan A didn’t work, I’d make up plan X, Y or Z. I’d find a way.

I called a friend, shared my discoveries and asked if she would start masterminding with me immediately. I was desperate for results.

Miracles happened.

  • A retreat facility drastically moved up a deadline and asked for a room commitment in two weeks.  I hadn’t even announced it yet. Instead of giving up, I asked a group to mastermind via teleconference. The retreat not only filled but was one of the best events I’ve had the honor to facilitate. In doing so, I realized great results come from group masterminding by phone.
  • I released 11# of weight in five weeks.
  • When I shared the idea with others, they wanted to experience it – so business took off for them and me.
  • Projects I’d been putting off for years got done.
  • Life once again became fun.

I realized I was top dog instead of being wagged by the tail.

While there are many types of masterminding, and some are similar to what we now do, this was my journey of discovery of a system that emerged. I call it Resolved for Results because that’s exactly what I was – resolved. As I began to share it with others, a structured program, including a 240 page success manual, evolved that people could depend on to bring results when they used the system.

Here’s what I found.

Creating a word picture where someone can SEE and FEEL their goal, as if they’re living it now, shifts their attitude to possibilities. Action is created through enthusiasm, vision and belief in themselves and their goals. By recognizing their essential connection with their own divinity and uprooting limiting beliefs, they create results with grace and ease that go beyond their wildest expectations

Many mastermind groups use a set of principles. Resolved for Results has its roots in seven beliefs. For example, #7 is “I am grateful which changes my attitude and opens me up to bigger and better things.”

Now it’s your turn to mastermind for results.

Ask someone you trust to mastermind with the purpose of both of you achieving your goals.

In Part 2, you learned how to choose a goal. Now’s the time you’ll need it.

Have fun with this streamlined version of Resolved for Results masterminding:

  • Say to a partner: “I choose and am willing to receive this or something better:” Then state your goal.
  • The partner responds: Your name, I support your choices, and I see you… then expand the goal by painting a word picture.
  • End the masterminding by saying “So be it.”
  • Say thank you to acknowledge the gift that was given and share how you benefitted from it.
  • Reverse roles.
  • Repeat regularly for best results.

While it’s extremely powerful to mastermind with another person, you can mastermind with God, your guardian angel or anyone on the other side. If you’re a scientist, Einstein would make a great partner!
