TIP: My Cat’s 2+ Year of Miracles – RIP?

“The world steps aside for the man who knows where he is going.”  James Allen

After her health episode, a vet told me a few days ago during an examination of my 16+ year old cat Micha (pronounced ME-cha), basically, it was time to let her go. In the last two years, I’ve been told this several times.

Along with detailing her issues, the doctor said we can’t know an animal’smentation,” aka their mental activity.

I decided to be polite and refrain from saying maybe you can’t.

It requires quieting one’s own mentation and tuning in to theirs.

Instead of the TIP I said I’d post about a woman’s big miracles (stay tuned for that), I’m going to share some that are big to me.

It’s about my cat’s mentation. You might relate it to your own mental activity. It determines your motivation.

With nose to the grindstone crazy busy. While in the midst of endless To Do lists. Why are you doing any of this? Why do you choose to live?

Knowing this puts you on the path to ignite your Soul’s goals.

Then, anything is possible.

Background:

Over two years ago, Micha dropped from 15# to 7# in three weeks.

A vet said her thyroid was the highest he’d ever seen.

Normal thyroid T4 levels are .7 – 5.2.

Micha’s were 19.4.

No drugs could help. I was told through lurid examples to put her to sleep.

What he and other vets didn’t account for is that she wasn’t ready to go.

Her mentation demonstrated a strong will to live and belief in herself. And a belief that I’d catch on, too.

Animals “think” in pictures. Simple images, not long sentences and ideas.

Actually, our brains work the same way. It’s the reason to keep goals simple.

Having lost a desire to eat, I told Micha that if she wanted to stay with me she’d have to eat foodies. To live, she’d have to tell her body to work.

She’s tapped into her inner power and turned her health around from the brink countless times.

Like many pets who have humans, Micha and I have a strong bond.

She’s got a good gig with me that inspires her to stay – lots of love; good food; sleep whenever; peaceful; friends; outdoors to explore; a safe, enclosed back porch. It’s the cat’s meow.

Just because many don’t understand the language of cat doesn’t mean they don’t understand human.

Cats spend time in quiet meditation while we’re in our busy mentation.

They tune in to things we might overlook.

Like most cats, Micha is smart, reads energy and is an excellent teacher.

Once, a couple came to visit for a few days. After our warm hello, they went to their car to get luggage.

While outside, Micha relieved herself on their bed! She’d never done that before.

They were lovely people but the worse house guests because of their nasty arguments. Once, their yelling woke me up, and I coached them at 2 AM.

Another time, Micha brought in a dead, baby rat and placed it under where a guy I dated was sitting. Again, something she’d never done.

Tune in, human. I’m teaching here. Get the message?

A week later, as more of who he was revealed itself to me, I broke up with him.

When I thought it was time to put her to sleep, she hid and then got better.

It wasn’t about me letting her go.

With her strong will to live and belief in herself, she’s communicated her mentation.

James Allen, the world steps aside for the cat who knows where she’s going, too.

Your TIP is to consider your mentation.

What’s your gut level reason to live and do what you love?

With a strong belief, in spite of any odds against you, you’ll find a way.

Really, if my cat can pull off miracles, so can you!

So, because of Micha’s recent health episode, I’m tuning in to her mentation – hang out with us on planet earth or join the cat party in the sky.

You’re invited to send her love. She’s so tuned in to energy, she’ll feel and be supported by your prayers no matter where she is.

Like us, she doesn’t die when her body does.

While you’re at it, send some lovin’ to your mentation of belief, too. You deserve it.
