Once I left a half an hour later than intended for a talk I gave. I needed the extra time to place hand outs on 50 chairs and organize other aspects of my presentation.
I knew if I used the mantra on the 45-minute drive, “I’m late; I’m late,” I would have been an emotional wreck by the time I arrived.
Instead, I told my chattering mind, “I have all the time I need.” When I got there I discovered that one of my clients, who regularly attends this group and likes to arrive early, was available and very happy to assist me.
I had more than enough time.
Time is malleable. You can change your self-imposed concept of time in your life.
IT DOESN’T MATTER if you can’t figure out how you’ll find the time.
IT DOESN’T MATTER if you think you need more time in the day or more time before you exit the planet.
Talk with your Essence, the very core of who you are, and make an agreement: I have all the time I need to do everything I have to do.
Start by re-evaluating one area of your life where you feel you do not have enough time. Look at it from the viewpoint of a wise friend and reframe your perspective to one where you have all the time you need… and won’t run out of it.
“You can’t get it wrong, and you never get it done.“
Abraham-Hicks
Need to get control of your time? Feel like you’ll never catch up or you missed your boat? Maybe you’re so busy that you feel you aren’t able to get off your merry-go-round?
The Home Edit on Netflix inspired me to massively reorganize my home.
I let go of 2/3rds of my clothes and shoes. I threw away bags of stuff, sold some, and brought countless carloads to Goodwill.
For a variety of reasons, they no longer fit who I am now.
I categorized what was left (grouping similar items together in the same area). I bought containers so everything on my shelves had their own place. I stepped back to look at all my rooms, closets, drawers and cupboards with an eye for them to be aesthetically pleasing. The end goal is to maintain the system.
There’s not a paper on my desktops.
Following was the yard edit. I cut and dumped the equivalent of truckloads of pruned trees and branches.
Months of this focus led me to ask questions about editing my life.
How was I using my time?
Why were individuals in my life?
I paid attention to attitudes, beliefs, patterns, actions of myself and others.
When did I feel unhappy or stressed?
What did I like or just put up with?
When I honestly paused to see, I admitted to myself what didn’t serve me.
I saw where I was taking care of others above taking care of me.
Why?For logical reasons: they needed me, my help, to talk, something… and regularly being on that vibrational frequency was interfering with my ability to create a life that I choose.
It was time for me to draw the line and stop tolerating the vibrational dissonance.
“Use whatever excuse you can to vibrate in harmony with those things you’ve been saying you want. And when you do, these things that are a vibrational equivalent flow into your experience in abundance… That which is like unto itself is drawn.“
Abraham-Hicks
Once, while in a car for hours with a woman who’d been experiencing her friend’s drama for hours, I asked: “Why are they even your friends?”
It was the same question I’d been asking myself about everything in my life. Why is this/ are they in my life?
She replied something about how they’re dysfunctional. However, my point wasn’t about them, but I left her answer alone.
My intention was about her. What vibration are you choosing? To use colloquial expressions, as birds of a feather flock together, as water seeks its own level, her love and caring for her friends were aligning her with energy of drama.
Wonder why sometimes you don’t move forward in life the way you thought you could? With what vibrational frequencies are you aligning yourself?
“When you find vibrational alignment with You, you personally thrive.“
Abraham-Hicks
For me, why did some drain my energy?
I learned from YouTuber Richard Grannon regarding narcissists that “you’re dealing with a performance to elicit a response from you that caused you to serve them.”
Whaaat?
Some people try to pull you in, to do things for them and satisfy their needs, with their stories, circumstances, neediness or emotions in order to elicit a response from you. This is how they cause you to serve them, in ways you wouldn’t have done if they hadn’t evoked or played on your emotions somehow.
They may want your money, your time, your stuff, your sex, your advice, your energy, your conversations, you doing things for them, your emotional support, and on and on.
They may not respect your boundaries when you say “no,” but they can be sooo grateful to you for helping them.
Yes. It feels good to make a difference by helping others. Until their needs surface again. And again.
I realized I wasn’t helping. They were using me as a band-aid.
Are you rescuing or trying to fix others? You might believe you should do this to be a loving and good friend or family member. However, you may be holding others back from learning their lessons!
If you try to “teach” them, aka rescue or fix them instead of being an example, you may be holding them back spiritually.
Consequence: they keep coming back to you for help, and your enabling doesn’t motivate them to learn their lessons.
Ask yourself honestly. Is the relationship 50-50 or more like 90-10, you giving more than receiving?
You can let go of the toxicity and drama in your life. Maybe you’ve outgrown that, and it’s no longer a fit.
Of course, be willing to extend a helping hand!! However, if your hand gets tired from the repetitive performance, here’s an option.
HAVE COMPASSION.BLESS OTHERS.
LET THEM KNOW YOU BELIEVE IN THEM TO FIND A WAY THROUGH THEIR SITUATION.
BUT DON’T DO THE WORK FOR THEM.
Be empowered. Happy. Surround yourself with supportive people who love you for who you are, not because of how you can serve them.

Here’s what happened to my client that cut her off from getting what she wanted… and how she turned it around.
A seasoned professional’s business plummeted, and she was living off credit cards.
Shortly after coaching with me, she successfully turned her business around as she attained her goal of $1 million in monthly sales.
But suddenly, it all came to a standstill. $700,000 of deals completely fell through with no prospects on the horizon.
What happened?
She was brought up to believe that you have to work hard to get what you want. However, she met a guy, and they’ve been having fun, fun, fun!
Recently, she’s been having so much fun that her limiting belief that “work has to be hard” crept back again. Her financial flow stopped cold in its tracks.
She became aware of her faulty belief, and let it go. During this week’s session, she reported that she’s on track to achieve her goal of $1 million of transactions next month, the time it takes for her deals to process.
In the meantime, she received a call asking her to consider a totally unexpected, significant income stream. This put needed cash in her pocket now and will continue to do so in the future.
A simple erroneous thought that life and work have to be hard impacts results.
When her fun life became incongruent with that erroneous belief of having to work hard, something had to give. For her, it was to stop making money. That is, until she caught on to her limited thinking and turned it around.
Not getting what you want? There’s an underlying reason for the disconnect.
Whatever you believe is true, you’ll make it true. HOWEVER, you can turn this around!
Everything is given according to your belief.
To turn your life around, change your perspective. Imagine differently. Start by seeing through the eyes of gratitude and having more fun.
“Life is supposed to be fun. No one is taking score of any kind, and if you will stop taking score so much, you will feel a whole lot better — and as you feel a whole lot better, more of the things that you want right now will flow to you… All is really well. Have fun. Have fun. Have fun!”
Earlier this year, I watched a show called The Home Edit on Netflix. It inspired me to massively reorganize my home.

get frustrated if things don’t work out the way they should…
…what you want eludes you or is hard to get?
Other times, often when you casually say you want something, it appears effortlessly.
If a door opens that allows things to come to you, pushing against it only closes your ability to be open to receive.
The same principle applies to creating your ideal life, business and work, too.
If someone is chasing you for business, to be their friend or lover, to give them more time with you than you’re willing to share, what are you inspired to do?
If their energy is intense, needy, negative or draining, what do you want to do?
Run. Far away.
Your dreams and goals are here, now, waiting for you. Don’t chase them. Be willing and open to receive them or something better.
Amidst a sea of people at a month-long, holiday event held on six acres, I found myself face to face with a former client. I’d been thinking about reconnecting with her as we hadn’t talked for a couple of years.
We enjoyed catching up by phone the following day. At the end of our conversation, she inquired about my current business offerings. Poised to launch a new, career direction, she was ready to let go of limiting beliefs that could hold her back.
She’ll start her coaching program with me this month.
Right place. Right time. Right energy. In the flow. Great results.
No struggle. No trying. Being a magnet for intentions and good things by relaxing and being open to receive.
Note: this is 180 opposite from worrying about “What if things don’t work out?”
Life is magical when we allow it.
We’ve been trained to think no pain, no gain. Do more. Work harder.
Yes, actions do produce results. Inspired action. Not action based on fear, loss or neediness.
Releasing is one of the highest and most effective actions. This means letting go of anxiety, doubt and fear as well as other limiting thoughts and emotions.
Think tuning fork emitting a vibration. This frequency naturally harmonizes with complementary notes.
Relaxing and trusting open us to inspired action which allows success to occur naturally.
Your action has nothing to do with your abundance! Your abundance is a response to your vibration. Of course, your belief is part of your vibration. So if you believe that action is part of what brings your abundance, then you’ve got to unravel that.

“Most people have put anything that earns money in the category of the things that I HAVE to do. And that is why the money often comes so hard.”
MY NOTE: Break the habit of saying that you “want” something or you “have to” have or have to do something. Instead, substitute the word “choose.” By doing this, you tap into a higher and more empowered energy within you to attract more money or achieve any goal.
Test the difference now by using these words. Think of something you desire. Put it in a sentence by using a variety of words, found in the example below.
I want more money. (This is pretty weak and generic. Not a strong statement.)
I gotta have more money. (Sounds a bit desperate with underlying energy to match.)
I have to have more money. (Feels like you could add “or else all is lost” – desperate again.)
I choose to have more money. (Can you feel how this is more empowering?)
Create a new habit of stopping yourself, even mid-sentence, of speaking words in a conscious way. By doing this you’re reprogramming your brain.
When you tune into this energy more and more, you’ll naturally stop your language of limitation and replace it with those that manifest results. Be vigilant with your words because they reflect your thoughts and feelings and thereby create your reality. Wonder why you don’t quite get what you want sometimes? Learn how to recognize and change the words you speak.
JOE VITALE
“What can you do right now to begin to turn your life around? The very first thing is to start making a list of the things you are grateful for.”
“Leave your excuses behind, and you will begin to attract wealth.”
“Remember that: Money will always match your mindset.”
“Your part in the co-creation process to attract more money in your life is to act on the ideas that are coming to you.”
SANAYA ROMAN
“If you are in a calm or flat state, where money is coming in and going out in equal amounts or there isn’t any movement, look at where your own energy might not be moving. You want both money and your personal energy to flow. By unblocking your energy, you can create more money in your life. Blocks in money can be caused by places where your energy isn’t flowing, such as in your physical body, your emotions, or your relationships with other people… Observe your life for a while and ask your higher self to show you where your energy needs to flow more… When you observe an area that feels blocked you can ask, ‘What specific action can I take to create more flow in this area?’” It need not be a major act; it can be simple… One area in which you are not happy with may affect every other area of your life.”
Creating Money, Keys to Abundance
JULIA CAMERON
“So much of our mythology around money centers on the illusion that if we had ‘more,’ we would be more comfortable and more able to access our creativity. But creativity and prosperity are spiritual matters, not fiscal ones.“
JIM ROHN
“Money is usually attracted, not pursued.”
“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find excuses.”

I work with people who choose to enhance their lives or business but don’t know how, feel stuck or could use new tools or support… by connecting with their Soul’s goals.
Here’s an excerpt of an email I sent a client who’s been experiencing challenges.
Recently, I’ve observed people transitioning from the way their life has been to something new and different. That can bring up a variety of feelings, some pleasant and others not so much.
I remember thinking in the early 1990s that my entire life was about frustration. There wasn’t any part of it that worked, from health, finances and career to my marriage. All were falling apart. This perfect storm became the springboard that has shaped the rest of my life of personal discovery and helping people like you.
Change is in the air, welcoming it, liking it, wanting it or not.
For some, it’s an exciting adventure.
For others, a dark cloud hangs overhead.
You, like the rest of us, have had a lifetime of listening to the false guidance of your ego, that façade of an identity. For you, it includes difficult emotions like anger and frustration. These emotions are like software glitches.
Here’s what Wikipedia says about glitches… computer glitches are incorrectly written software, incorrect instructions given by the operator, undetected invalid data, undetected communications errors…
You are not your software.
In contrast, your Essence is prompting you to listen within. This is the part of you that knows “all is well.”
Abraham-Hicks said:
“Your emotions are your indicator of how your active thought blends, or doesn’t blend, with the thought Source is thinking about the same subject in the same moment.”
The inner turmoil you’re experiencing is the conflict between your ego’s perspective and that of the Source within you.
Naturally, your ego is taking an all out stand for you to listen to its lies, lies that lead you to feel frustrated, angry and needing to sort things out.
To protect itself, it uses a type of logic in which it’s already trained you, indoctrinated into you, so you believe that it’s telling you the truth. It presents its case that leaves you feeling anger and frustration.
The logic only works if you see things from its limited and fearful point of view.
Habitual thinking creates entrenched neural pathways in the brain. These become your default, your easy “go to” ways you react. These reactions, instead of responses, don’t always serve you.
Just because ideas are in your head does NOT make them true!
However, you can most assuredly access your true Essence instead, as it is YOU!
A key is to differentiate between the whispers of your ego and your Essence.
The ego certainly doesn’t want you to be around positive people that shed light on how it manipulates you. This way it has you, back where you can be controlled by the stress and chaos of unsupportive emotions.
In defense of the ego, it thinks it’s protecting you. But these patterns were created from a child’s approach to survival. When presented with adult situations, the peace of your Essence offers greater insight and direction.
Ask your Essence to step forward to be heard, and choose to listen to its guidance.

I work with people who choose to share their gifts or business in a BIGGER way but don’t know how, feel stuck or would benefit from new tools or support.
I help them be richly compensated doing what they love by discovering their Soul’s goals.
I felt as if I were about to climb a BIG mountain without the gear.
Small things can be easy to manifest, especially those that don’t come with a risk, like finding a convenient parking spot.
A while ago, I bought several boxes of a particular type of supplement on clearance at a supermarket. Recently, I noticed that I’d run out in a couple of days and casually thought that I’d find something to replace them.
It was an intention made without the feeling of any desperate, emotional fanfare. A few hours later, I found on clearance at the same market several boxes of a similar supplement by the same company. They may even be better than my original ones.
I had another goal. It was a BIG goal with a quick deadline.
I felt pressure because it was important that I reach it; there would be consequences if I didn’t. To achieve it felt as if I were about to climb a mountain without the gear.
But while other goals related to it manifested easily, I didn’t even scratch the surface of my BIG goal.
This is why.
I made having this such a BIG thing that I totally blew it! I felt heavy pressure, which is 180° opposite of the energy essential to manifest things. I was way too intense about how very important it was instead of feeling light and trusting.
To turn a dream into reality requires a light touch. However, I couldn’t even imagine attaining my goal beyond giving it lip service.
Here’s more of how I completely blew it:
While I knew I wanted the goal, I had contradictory thoughts believing that I could achieve it. I made it so BIG in my thoughts that I doubted my ability to manifest it quickly.
Emotionally, I didn’t anticipate achieving it.
I couldn’t see myself achieving it.
When I thought about it, I couldn’t imagine HOW I could accomplish it. (Another big faux pas – let life figure out the how part. If you try to figure it out, you’ll keep going in circles getting nowhere except exhausting yourself.)
While intellectually I knew it was possible, I didn’t believe I would do it.
So I didn’t manifest it.
Even though it looked like a window closed, the experience prompted me to open a door that I’d been slow to approach in the past. I mean, I could’ve opened Door #1 so long ago that the hinges now had become creaky. Yet, the door opened once I focused my attention on it.
Regardless of how it appeared, this turned into an opportunity that inspired me to change direction. Although I missed one goal, I learned a lot. I’m now better positioned to create positive results from even bigger ones.
After I realized what I’d done, I read a quote by Abraham-Hicks to clarify even more. Here it is with my bold print added:
“All the resources you will ever want or need are at your fingertips. All you have to do is identify what you want to do with it, and then practice the feeling-place of what it will feel like when that happens. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have. You are blessed Beings; you have come forth into this physical environment to create. There is nothing holding you back, other than your own contradictory thought. And your emotion tells you you’re doing that. Life is supposed to be fun—it is supposed to feel good! You are powerful Creators and right on schedule.
“Savor more; fix less. Laugh more; cry less. Anticipate positively more; anticipate negatively less. Nothing is more important than that you feel good. Just practice that and watch what happens.”
I work with people who choose to share their gifts or business in a BIGGER way but don’t know how, feel stuck or could use new tools or support.

“When you get to be my age, everything scares you,” an 82-year-old told me. “Just watching TV is enough to make you afraid. You’ll see.” Because I’ve heard similar comments over my lifetime of “when you get to be my age” followed by limited thinking, I paused.I noticed how she shared her negativity in a joking way while her attitude depressed and sucked the life out of people around her.
This time instead of reacting, I replied, “I made a decision not to be afraid.”
Silence.
In contrast, I had a delightful conversation with Ms. Belle, a 79-year-old. She commented that looking at the way we’re talking, anyone would think we’re old friends. We met only 20 minutes earlier in a small, neighborhood store.
She told me, “You’ve got to be positive. Life is short.”
She’s amazed at how she meets lovely people wherever she goes, and that there are so many wonderful people in the world.
She goes to the gym and rides a bicycle. One day, she realized that she loves to exercise. She enjoys talking and having fun with others while there, too.
Ms. Belle shared with me the importance of keeping our memory, especially as some people will take advantage of you if you don’t remember things.
Hint: Just like you can make a decision not to be afraid, you can choose to retain your memory, even if you feel it’s not as good as you’d like it to be now. Start by no longer talking about and focusing on how you don’t have a good memory! What you talk about becomes your reality, joking or not.
So much of life and business are about decisions and perspectives.
Which attitudes, behaviors and actions of yours (and others) are you willing to tolerate?
Do you see people (including you) and life as inherently bad and evil or good?
Your answers will determine your success.
Negativity won’t breed positivity.
You can’t have a happy ending while feeling miserable along the way.
Everyone has beliefs. Many are held onto so dearly that you might feel that if you stopped believing them, you’ll go straight to that inferno down below.
Some beliefs upon which you base your life may be the very ones that are holding you back!
If you allow fear and a habit of complaining to control you, you could find yourself on a slippery slope that doesn’t lead to success or happiness.
Many blame others, blind to connecting the dots of how their own choices and beliefs created their circumstances.
Wonder what your future will bring? It will bear the fruit of your current and past thoughts, feelings and attitudes, as the two above-mentioned women demonstrate.
Your future will bring you the products of your beliefs and thinking just as your present is a reflection of your past ones.
Wonder what your beliefs and thinking have been? Look around you.
You have the power within you to choose to be afraid of your own shadow or to be courageous.
In this moment, you can change the way you feel about you and the mental picture you carry about yourself and your future.
You can decide nothing will stop you from living the life and having the business or work of your dreams, in spite of the odds… regardless of the effects that a pandemic or other circumstances have had on your life.
You see, you’re giving others too much power as you even acknowledge how they make you feel. What you’ve got to decide is how I’m going to feel. We would go to a Virtual Reality and we would practice feeling good. Manifestations come on the heels of what you’ve conjured in thought.

Whatever thoughts you have that don’t feel good, whatever fears you have… they’re not about you!! They’re also not about the economy, a virus or any other circumstance!
We all created, everyone of us, a false identity, which is known as the ego. Some call it the mind – or monkey mind.
No, the ego isn’t just about those who we consider braggadocios.
It’s the part of us that feels fear, doubt, anxiety, lack, sorrow, sadness and wonders about “what if” the worse happens. What if you get sick? What about your finances? And on and on.
It’s the part that berates us for not feeling good enough, regretting the past and is fearful about the future – and, oh, how it disapproves of you in countless ways.
However, the greater part of us, an invisible yet far more powerful Essence, is within, too.
How can you access that place of calm, peace and happiness?
Soon I’ll offer a teleconference to help you understand and LET GO of your ego being in charge of your life.
You’ll learn how to allow your innate, inner mastery to be in control, new ways to set goals and MANIFEST THEM!
Interestingly, by letting go of negative emotions, we open to receive whatever we choose into our lives. Money. Health. Love. Peace.
In the meantime, I’m sharing a Soulgoals’ post from my August 12, 2019 archive about the ego.
It’s just a hint of what it is and how it impacts you.
With gratitude,
Virginia

In defense of the ego, it thinks it’s protecting you. But these patterns were created from a child’s approach to survival.
When presented with adult situations, the peace of your Essence offers greater insight and direction.
Ask your Essence to step forward to be heard, and choose to listen to its guidance.

I work with people
who choose to share their gifts
or business in a BIGGER way
but don’t know how, feel stuck
or would benefit from new tools
or support.
I help them be richly compensated
doing what they love by discovering
their Soul’s goals.
Virginia Goszewska (go-SHEF-ska) awakens people to be richly compensated doing what they love by aligning with their Soul’s goals.
Based on decades of extensive research and personal discoveries, Virginia created the unique mastermind and success program Soulgoals: A Step-by-Step System to Do What You Love – even if you failed before, lost hope, are afraid, stuck, stressed or confused. The mastermind is an energy created when two or more gather in harmony for the attainment of a shared, definite objective.
