3 Ways to Create Magical Success

February 6, 2023

Your magical life and business are here for your taking. It happens when you believe you can.

1. Start your day by choosing to be in Divine Flow. At first, you may notice only incremental changes – things become easier, and you may receive unexpected, positive results. During your day, focus on these not the yucky stuff. Step at a time, you’ll gain momentum… and that’s when the magic really kicks in.

2. Kick out doubt. From my Soulgoals’ course: “If you surrender and then continue to energize doubt with your feelings and attention, the doubt will push out your faith. Instead, choose to kick out doubt.”

3. Be vigilant about your associations, and don’t listen to trash talk from others or the limiting voice in your head. Soulgoals’ coaching can help to energize you and your goals.

You’re worth it. You CAN have quicker success with grace and ease. Think about how you could enjoy life more or how your business could grow and be more satisfying. Investing your energy and time to create a magical life without the stress is a lot more fun, productive, meaningful… and possible for YOU!

Do You Have to Work Hard to Make Money?

January 16, 2023

Here’s what happened to my client that cut her off from getting what she wanted… and how she turned it around.

A seasoned professional’s business plummeted, and she was living off credit cards.

Shortly after coaching with me, she successfully turned her business around as she attained her goal of $1 million in monthly sales.

But suddenly, it all came to a standstill. $700,000 of deals completely fell through with no prospects on the horizon.

What happened?

She was brought up to believe that you have to work hard to get what you want. However, she met a guy, and they’ve been having fun, fun, fun!

Recently, she’s been having so much fun that her limiting belief that “work has to be hard” crept back again. Her financial flow stopped cold in its tracks.

She became aware of her faulty belief, and let it go. During this week’s session, she reported that she’s on track to achieve her goal of $1 million of transactions next month, the time it takes for her deals to process.

In the meantime, she received a call asking her to consider a totally unexpected, significant income stream. This put needed cash in her pocket now and will continue to do so in the future.

A simple erroneous thought that life and work have to be hard impacts results.

When her fun life became incongruent with that erroneous belief of having to work hard, something had to give. For her, it was to stop making money. That is, until she caught on to her limited thinking and turned it around.

Not getting what you want? There’s an underlying reason for the disconnect.

Whatever you believe is true, you’ll make it true. HOWEVER, you can  turn this around!

Everything is given according to your belief.

To turn your life around, change your perspective. Imagine differently. Start by seeing through the eyes of gratitude and having more fun.

Life is supposed to be fun. No one is taking score of any kind, and if you will stop taking score so much, you will feel a whole lot better — and as you feel a whole lot better, more of the things that you want right now will flow to you… All is really well. Have fun. Have fun. Have fun!”

Simple Way to Have a Great 2023

January 2, 2023

It’s that time when people make resolutions for the new year… most of which they won’t keep.

So let’s keep it simple AND effective.

You’ll have greater success if you focus on doing what you love instead of trying to do something you think you have to do, should do, or trying to please others.

When you’re ruminating about what you’d like your resolutions and life to be, may these words of wisdom guide you… and be sure to include fun and doing what you love.

“If you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.”

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.”

Joseph Campbell

“People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.”

Dale Carnegie

“If you always do what interests you, at least one person is pleased.”

Katharine Hepburn

May you enjoy a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Not Getting What You Want? Here’s Why.

August 21, 2019

Here’s what happened to two of my clients that cut them off from getting what they wanted… and how they turned it around.

1. Before we started coaching, a man was tens of thousands of dollars in the hole. Soon after, he turned his business around and in the last year has socked away many, many tens of thousands in savings.

However, he had a major meltdown about the “bitter reality” of not being able to get something he had been looking forward to having. Although the upset occurred in his personal life, his tremendous momentum in sales came to a halt.

Usually, at the beginning of his sessions, he listed so many deals that I couldn’t write them all down. This time, he said his business was anemic. Nothing going on at all!

By the end of his session, he did a 180 turnaround as he “put things in perspective.”

He said, “I trust I can deal with this better and more appropriately. I’m in a better spot now. I’m more comfortable about moving forward.

“I now feel gratitude for what I have instead of disappointment for what I don’t have.”

Less than two hours later, he got a call about a new prospect. The following day he had a new client!

Energy attracts like energy. What’s felt in some part of one’s life spills over to the rest of it. When he felt frustrated and disappointed, he magnetized other situations, like lack of clients, so he could continue feeling frustrated and disappointed. When he felt more positively, he attracted success.

2. Starting last fall, a seasoned professional’s business plummeted, and she was living off credit cards.

Shortly after coaching with me this year, she successfully turned her business around as she attained her goal of $1 million in monthly sales.

Suddenly, it all came to a standstill. $700,000 of deals completely fell through with no prospects on the horizon.

What Do You Have to Have?

November 12, 2018

receiving-hands-e83cb30f20_340

What do you have to have? It might be more money, love, health, harmony, happiness or anything.

You feel you need this so much that inside your head you’re practically begging for it.

Consider this quote by Abraham-Hicks. Even though the focus is about money, it applies to whatever you want.

“Most people have put anything that earns money in the category of the things that I HAVE to do. And that is why the money often comes so hard.”

Have ta, gotta. Seems quite desperate. Sounds obligatory, not fun… and hard to get.

“Have to” makes what you want so BIG that it can seem a very daunting task to ever get it. A goal you want but can’t possibly achieve.

Here’s another point. Think about someone, imaginary or real, who has to have you in their life. They need you. Chase after you. They just gotta have you or else their life will fall apart.

Makes you want to run the other way, right?

Same thing applies to money, love, happiness or anything.

Desperate energy repels the very thing you want.

“Have to” can make you feel like a rebellious kid running away from what you believe you have to do.

Hard feels like a daunting task that you might not be up to do.

Instead, be empowered.

Choose.

Annoyed, a woman challenged me when I told her this. “I have to have a job because I have to have money. What do you want me to do, lose my house?”

I responded to choose to keep her house. “Shift your focus, and your desperation won’t chase away prospective employers who could hire you.”

She found a job.

Like attracts like. What is your energy attracting?

Break the habit of saying that you “have to” have or “have to” do something.

Instead, substitute the word “choose.” By doing this, you tap into a higher, creative energy within you to make more money or achieve any goal.

Test the difference now by using these words in a sentence. Think of something you desire. Put it in a sentence by using a variety of words, found in the examples below.

  • I want more money. (This is pretty weak and generic. Not a strong statement.)
  • I gotta have more money. (Sounds a bit desperate with underlying energy to match.)
  • I have to have more money. (Feels like you could add “or else all is lost” – desperate again.)
  • I don’t know what I’ll do if I don’t get more money. (Poor little, pitiful you.)
  • I choose to have more money. (Can you feel how this determination is empowering?)

When you feel empowered, you have the energy to find clarity and do what it takes to attract, create or find the money or anything you choose!

Create a new habit of stopping yourself, even mid-sentence, so you speak words in a conscious way.

Every word you speak is an affirmation. Your energy and words are attracting whatever you say. From your lips to God’s ears.

Additionally, you’re reprogramming your brain to shift to actually having what you choose instead of just wishing you had it or feeling desperate or like a victim.

When you tune into this energy more and more, you’ll naturally stop your language of limitation and replace it with those that manifest results.

Be vigilant with your words because they reflect your thoughts and feelings and thereby create your outer world.

Wonder why you don’t quite get what you want or have to have sometimes? Learn how to recognize and change the words you speak.

Guilt, Know-It-Alls & Being #1

November 6, 2017

Wire

Are you in a self-imposed prison with freedom in view?

Feeling guilty had been drilled into her by her family throughout her life.

When my client was at the top, business associates and family triggered these guilty feelings by their passive-aggressive behaviors. She felt like she was doing something wrong.

Not feeling good about the price she paid for her success, her sales slipped.

People in her family had jobs. Furthermore, what’s a woman doing being successful, especially in her own business?! They had to work hard in their employment; why should she be any different?

She didn’t realize it was their own jealousy, insecurity, a need to control and their disappointment in themselves for not going after their dreams that were the underlying culprits of others’ manipulative behaviors.

Ever hear of the lobster syndrome or the crab mentality?

When either of these is alone in a lidless container, it can escape.

However, when sharing their enclosure, none can get out because they will be pulled back down, even into boiling water.

In society or business, this can happen when people are bettering themselves, and others try to bring them down.

How can they do that? Through guilt, fear, making others feel they’re doing something wrong, shunning, shaming and the threat of being ostracized if they don’t fit in with the community.

Some religions exert control by indoctrinating their followers with the fear of damnation or how their future lives will be affected.

Previously, my client couldn’t stay away from her cell phone out of fear of missing calls from prospective customers. Working hard is acceptable as a road to success.

So when she fulfilled her goal of a five-week vacation, and still remained #1, it was at the expense of others’ disparaging remarks.

Even though at the top of her game and years away from what most consider retirement age, she couldn’t stop thinking about leaving the business world behind.

She told me about a close friend and business associate. “There’s something about him lately that rubs me the wrong way – so I’ve distanced myself — although we’re working on a deal together. With him, it’s a debate or he knows some expertise about things. He’s done and knows everything.”

She was exhausted by critical people: if it’s not done their way, then in their way of looking at things, it’s being done wrong.

“Because I am surrounded by that thinking and attitude, my cup runneth over with this. My response is to disassociate with people who have these behaviors.”

When I asked where she’s seen those patterns before, she recalled that her mother and sister had the same habit of being critical know-it-alls. Both parents ruled by creating guilt in others.

We discussed that no matter where you go, there you are. If she continued to react, she’d attract more people who would act the same, wherever she went.

She realized that unless she changed, even if she left her business, she’d continue to run into similar, annoying behaviors from others.

Programmed from childhood, traits like lack of confidence, guilt and worry can prompt you to continue brainwashing yourself with limiting beliefs, even when those who put these ideas in your head aren’t around.

Don’t listen to your inner, critical voice that bullies you and makes you question your ability to succeed or be happy. It lies.

That nagging voice reflects how the people who told you that nonsense feel about themselves. It’s not about you.

Your true essence guides you with a kind, non-judgmental and supportive voice.

Her insight: this session made her step back and look at the bigger picture.

She realized that she won’t be affected by others when she has a different perspective. And when her buttons are no longer pushed, she won’t attract people who think like that.

By the way, she’s back to being #1 and having her best year ever. Life is more fun, and she feels free now that she no longer reacts to guilt trips and know-it-alls in the way she did before.

You can step out of your self-imposed prison of any limiting beliefs, even if you don’t know what’s holding you back.

Start by having confidence that believing in yourself brings.

Remember, those voices to the contrary are figments of someone else’s imagination that they projected on you.

Freedom and success are yours if you’re open to receive them.

TIP: The Four Tops and The Temptations – Wow!

November 8, 2016

img_0104

“Are you feeling alright? Oh yeah. Put your hands together.”

With horns blaring to their harmonies and synchronized moves, the Temptations delivered a non-stop, high energy performance, starting with “Get Ready” along with favorites like “My Girl” and “Just My Imagination.”

Both groups played full out, giving their all.

The magic took off at another level when the Four Tops came on stage: “Feel it. Feel it.” And we did.

Abdul Fakir, the only original of the Four Tops who’s still with us, turns 81 on December 26! No way he looked or acted that on stage!! He’s on the far right of the photo.

Roquel, the son of Lawrence Payton who was one of the original Four Tops, has got the moves! He’s on the far left.

Abdul talked about the joy, celebration and positive energy of members of the Four Tops who’ve passed. Their energy lives on.

For their encore, we were all on our feet shouting along with “I Can’t Help Myself” (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch).

Hearing the old songs and seeing the dancing brought us back in a time machine. Everyone had memories.

My earlier life flashbacks during the back to back performances, and set up time in between, nudged me into a mini life review.

That’s where I was when their music played. I went through being an adult. Now I’m here.

What happened in between?

When you look back at your life, what do you see?

No matter what you’ve done or haven’t done, here you are now.

There are ups and downs (by the way, everyone has them not just you), but they change.

One time you’re surrounded by those people, another time you’re not.

Your livelihood and circumstances altered.

When you look back, you can see everything that didn’t work, who done you wrong, your mistakes and unfulfilled dreams.

However…

You can see another timeline, too – who you helped and helped you, what you learned, who you became along the way and visions for your future.

No matter what perspective you choose, you cannot fail at life.

There are no angels with clipboards keeping a tally of judgment on you. That’s a human invention.

You are divinely loved and accepted for who you are – a brave Soul who showed up on this planet, learning and growing.

Just like a baby isn’t judged for falling while learning to walk, neither are you while you’re learning.

While freeing yourself from self-judgment, consider this.

Think about a time in your life, let’s say ten or twenty years ago.

What you experienced felt like your never-ending world. Then it passed or morphed into something different.

Now you’re here in this now.

What you think, feel and envision now are creating what’s to come.

How clear is your vision because it’s your blueprint for your life and business that’s yet to come?

Your TIP is to create your life or business to be Wow!

Care enough about yourself to be happy and do what you love instead of what you think the world expects of you.

Decades ago, while in a very sad situation, I had a dream. “Find your heart and rescue it.”

One way you can do this is to honor yourself and your feelings. What are they guiding you to do?

If you feel unhappy, unfulfilled, unhealthy or your business or finances are bringing you down (not enough time, money, feeling good about you – or can’t get no satisfaction), that’s called a clue!

It’s time for a change – do something differently!

Your past is behind you.

In the now, are you being kind to yourself? Are you doing what you love?

Is your business or life what you choose?

If it isn’t, in Star Trek lingo, are you on a trajectory to “make it so, Number One”?

Your happiness, health and finances depend on it.

Regardless of your answer, you can make new decisions.

You’re still breathing, so it’s not too late to change your viewpoint, make new choices and do what you love.

Regardless of your age or circumstances, you have more than enough time to have your life and business be a series of Wows!

Virginia works with people who long to share their gifts or business in a BIGGER way but don’t know how or feel stuck. She helps them ignite their Soul’s goals and be richly compensated doing what they love.

TIP: Dance. Yes, You!

October 24, 2016

img_3968

Like a phoenix taking flight from the ashes of war, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars radiate how the human spirit prevails.

Their music offers us the gift of perspective. Through unimaginable hardships, we can still rejoice in faith, joy and optimism.

Years ago, I watched a documentary about them twice in a row (first for the story, second to listen to their music). I looked them up online and discovered they were on tour performing at a nearby, small club the next day!

Instead of sleeping, I drove an hour to see their 11:30 PM performance and was able to meet them back stage. As I shook hands with each of them, I said what an honor it was to hear them play, and I had respect for them and all they went through.

They emerged from a horrific eleven year civil war in their West African country and unexpectedly spent years in a refugee camp. Now, instead of wallowing in bitterness and victimhood, they share joy through their upbeat music.

This weekend, I had an opportunity to see them perform again. This time in a big theater.

The stirring sounds pulsed from the stage begging us to dance or at least tap our feet or sway.

Almost everyone sat rigidly unmoved as if to say: I expect you to entertain me. It’s your job to make me feel. Move me… in spite of myself.

In spite of my problems or mind-numbing job. Dealing with family. Being stressed or bored with life.

But the band wouldn’t let us sit as passive participants.

The drummer stood up, walked to the microphone at the front of the stage only to say these words:

Ladies and gentlemen, I invite you to dance.

My friend didn’t want to at first. “I don’t know how to dance like they do.”

“Just move,” I told her. “Let the music move through you and dance.”

Soon half the audience was on their feet. Smiling. Waving their arms.

We followed directions to “shake it.”

There were periodic check-ins with the audience: Are you happy?

For those who didn’t allow the music to move them, the rhythms taunted like an annoying beggar. Some left.

Allowing the music to flow through us, a joy of spirit broke free into happiness and remembering how much fun life can be.

Your TIP is to dance!

Don’t be a passive bystander to your life.

When you let the life force move through you, you remember joy.

When you feel good, you’re in alignment with your true self.

When you’re in alignment, you’re in Divine Flow – and this is how you receive all good things for your life and business.

Go ahead, dance. Dance in your room or office. Bounce to the beats in your car. Shake your booty by yourself or ignite a friend’s passion to play along.

Allow energy to flow through you, the same energy that allows your business and life to soar to greater heights.

Dance. Yes, you!

Are you happy?

It’s your life. It’s never to late to dance, be happy and allow your dreams to come true.

TIP: Have fun. I did with Patrizio!

October 11, 2016

img_3868-2

Not having enough fun isn’t fun.

I’ve talked with several people having this experience. Hanging out by themselves, watching movies or searching the internet. Not going out with friends. Bogged down with daily living. (If that describes you, you’re not alone in being alone.)

In January, I included on this year’s mind map of goals Fun, Adventure, Travel, Dancing and Friends. My intentions have been working.

This weekend I had fun! Lots of it.

About ten years ago, I heard recordings of Patrizio, an Italian singer with an amazing voice. When he came to town on Thursday, I got a strong nudge to see him and went with my friend and client Belinda Mendoza, a feng shui expert for prosperity.

It was a surprisingly superb show.

When he mentioned he was performing in San Antonio the following night, and I already had plans to meet another friend and client there, I asked Carol if she wanted to go.

First, she and I enjoyed Happy Hour at Tower of the Americas while having a great conversation as we watched the sun go down.

We were having so much fun that we got to the theatre way past when we planned – 8:04 for an 8 PM concert.

Who did we see at the door? Patrizio and his fabulous band.

We laughed and joked together with Patrizio. He took selfies with us – oh shucks that they didn’t come out quite well enough to share.

We were already on a high from having so much fun, and then the concert started. His intention is for his audience to enjoy ourselves, and we did beyond expectation.

During his song “Mambo Italiano,” I was the audience member with whom he chose to dance a brief segment that’s part of his show.

If you ever have a chance to see one of Patrizio’s concerts, it’s great entertainment. He’s such a warm person and a phenomenally talented singer and musician who cares about his audience.

He sets the tone for joy, and I didn’t see one person who wasn’t moving to the music, smiling or shouting out their accolades of enthusiastic approval. That’s why people from coast to coast drove or flew in to see him.

After the show, we returned to the Tower to see three short movies with special effects.

Then, we took a walk to a nearby park.

Carol Warkoczewski is the City Architect of San Antonio, and she showed me Yanaguana Garden, which is a new 4.1-acre park.

Carol and her team, amongst others, played an important role in the park being the popular San Antonio highlight that it is today.

img_3875-2

Getting a park tour from Carol about the cutting edge design and creativity was… well, by this time my mind was getting blown by how many wonderful experiences I was having.

Supercharged ride on divine flow.

What an amazing couple of days!

Your TIP is to have more fun! Take time to enjoy this wonderful world.

We all need to play.

When you lighten up, your goals and dreams manifest more quickly and with grace and ease.

Find your Patrizio and go have some fun.
