Does YOUR Economy Need a Boost?

February 21, 2022

Sometimes you have to let go to free yourself.

What do you do when you’re concerned about your finances, and you’re not sure how things are going to work out?

  • You were really counting on that job or deal to come through, but now it’s up-in-the-air or didn’t happen.
  • You have no idea how you’re going to make it financially.
  • You’ve don’t have enough to pay your bills and money left to live.
  • You’re afraid of inflation or changes in your industry. It’s okay now but what if….

A sales rep counted on her big client to provide a steady flow of income. She had a realistic expectation this would continue.

Suddenly, the reverse happened. They let her go.

After the initial shock, she put it in perspective. She did a journaling exercise I recommend: write a CEO letter to God, or the universe, if that’s more comfortable for you.

  • Write about your situation
  • Ask for help
  • Let it go
  • Be open to receive what you wanted or something better.

While writing, she realized she now has time to focus on projects and business ideas she’d put off.

Things don’t always work as you hoped or expected. But change always makes way for something better, regardless of how it appears.

Do not be limited by any individual, others’ opinions, what industry experts say or the government’s economy.
Choose that the source of your economy is not dependent on anything other than God’s economy, and God’s business is always good.

God is the source of your supply.

Maybe your change of events is what it took for you to let go and allow new possibilities to occur.

Remember the proverbial monkey who grasps something in a vase but can’t remove his hand until he lets go of what he’s holding onto? The neck of the vase is so narrow that he has to release his grip just to get his hand out.

You may need to change your perspective by letting go of your emotional and mental grasp to allow something better to come in.

What you focus on grows. In the past, have you experienced anxiety? If so, you’ll attract more experiences that lead you to feel anxious.

Instead, enjoy a childlike trust and curiosity. Look for what’s working and how the universe is assisting you. Consider it a mystery, and you delight in discovering the answer.

Believe there’s a happy ending and focus on it. Why not? You probably tried fear and worry, and they don’t produce lasting and fulfilling outcomes.

By the way, about that sales rep. New contracts appeared through happenstance, and her big client came back a few months later. Her financial situation worked out even better when she let go and shifted her perspective.

All is NOT Lost! What to do if Things Don’t Work the Way You Thought.

September 24, 2019

What do you do when you’ve invested a lot of energy into results that don’t happen?

You were really counting on that contract to come through, but now it’s up-in-the-air. A friend said she’d help you move but bailed at the last minute. Your relationship falls apart.

Things just didn’t work out the way you thought they should or would.

A freelancer counted on her big client to provide a steady flow of income. She had a realistic expectation this would continue.

Suddenly, she was let go.

After the initial shock, she put it in perspective. She used a journaling exercise found on my blog and had a CEO meeting with God. https://soulgoals.wordpress.com/category/ceo-meeting-with-god/  (Scroll down to the post on October 2, 2009.)

She realized she now had time to focus on projects and business ideas she’d put off.

Things don’t always work as expected. But change always makes way for something better, regardless of how it appears in the moment.

Your income, love, support, health and results don’t come from only one source. God, the Divine, is your supply. God or the universe, whatever word is in alignment with your beliefs, is never lost and offers infinite possibilities. Therefore, if something doesn’t work, new ways are found.

Maybe the change is what it took for you to let go and allow new possibilities to occur.

Sometimes you have to let go to free yourself.

Remember the proverbial monkey who grasps something in a vase but can’t remove it? The neck of the vase is so narrow that he has to release his grip just to get his hand out.

You’ll get results: your expectation, goal or something better. However, you may need to change your perspective or approach.

You may need to let go of your emotional and mental grasp to allow something better to come in.

What you focus on grows. In the past, have you chosen anxiety? Instead, enjoy a childlike trust and curiosity. Look for how the universe is assisting you. Consider it a mystery, and you delight in discovering an answer.

Believe there’s a happy ending, and focus on it. Why not? You probably tried fear and worry (over and over again), and they don’t produce lasting and fulfilling outcomes.

By the way, about out freelancer. All was far from lost. New jobs appeared through happenstance, and her big client came back a few months later. Her job situation worked out when she let go and shifted her perspective.

TIP: The 4 P’s Keys to Break Free

March 8, 2016

4keys_golden

Are you ready, perhaps beyond ready, to break free from the sameness of your business or life (same money, people, problems, etc.), debt or feeling the drag of whatever’s not working for you?

Wherever you are, there IS a way to free yourself so you can share your gifts with the world in a bigger way and be richly compensated.

Here are four keys that can help:

PLANNING and PERSPECTIVE: Bring on an elixir that brings results – a CEO meeting with the Divine.

Seriously, this really works.

Take time to write your needs and choices (not just talk and beg) and ask God, the universe or however you relate to the Powers That BE for help. By pausing to gain perspective and accessing this source of Love and wisdom, you open yourself to direction and miracles.

Use your meeting to write down plans, insights and ideas. You may not know what to do, but you’re not asking you. Open to receive guidance.

Numerous times when I thought there were no solutions, new paths appeared where they previously hadn’t existed. If you keep the faith, you can gain both perspective and results.

For more details, check out my very first blog post https://soulgoals.wordpress.com/2009/10/

PROMOTION: To move forward requires connecting with others. Create or foster relationships. Share your ideas. Believe enough in you and what you do to promote your vision to others. Open to new ways to share or market you and your gifts.

If you don’t know how, go back to the CEO meeting with the Divine. If an idea doesn’t pop in immediately, it’s on its way.

Surround yourself with people who have positive energy and care about you. A mastermind team can offer support and focus to stay on track with your goals. Be sure you’re receiving not just giving.

By the way, don’t be so self-centered that you only care about you. Healthy relationships are about balance.

Decades ago, I saw a skit that I still remember. While singing a beautiful opera aria, a woman was surrounded on stage with numerous people. However, she was so preoccupied with her own voice without paying attention to others that, one by one, they left the stage.

At the end of the song, she was alone.

If you’re consumed with your greatness, opinions or problems and consistently share these without a sincere interest in others, you may find your support dwindling.

PERFORMANCE: Take action. Work your business. Improve your skills. Meet with clients and prospects. Spend time on money-generating activities, if that’s your goal. Give your best service to the world in whatever capacity you can in the moment. Allow the universe to meet you half way by being visible and participating in life.

TIP: The 4 Keys to Break Free

You ARE important, so take time for you.

  • Pull out a pad of paper and have a meeting with your CEO.
  • Reach out and connect. Build relationships. Share your vision with those who might be supportive or can advance you in doing what you love.
  • Five days a week, take action to move you in the direction of your vision. What starts out as a small step can gain momentum – and you’ll be unstoppable.

BONUS: Set an intention that your plans are working. Your ideas might not manifest exactly as you thought, but they may emerge better than imagined. Find a saying that inspires you and repeat it, such as:

Life always work out in my favor. Life always work out in my favor. Life always work out in my favor.

You can discover it does, if you’re open to believe.

TIP: 4 Ways to Get Unstuck

January 25, 2016

cat yarn

Feeling stuck in your business or life? There are ways to free yourself – like untangling or cutting loose a cat who’s balled up in yarn. By the way, just because it’s stuck, there’s nothing wrong with the cat anymore than there’s anything wrong with you!

To help you unravel your stuckness, here’s an excerpt from the manual of my program Resolved for Results: A Step-by-Step Guide to Live Your Dreams… even if you failed before, lost hope, are afraid, stressed or confused.

A client who emailed a request to her mastermind team wrote, “I have calls out to people, but things seem stuck.” Her goal was well written and specific, including her filling appointments for three cities and a meet and greet.

But I felt the fear under her request and called her. She told me she felt pressure because an out-of-state manager was flying in, and she didn’t have appointments scheduled.

We discussed anticipating the best and letting go of expectation. Part of this letting go was a preoccupation with numbers – the number of bookings. Instead, I recommended she focus on the quality of appointments vs. the quantity.

The next night she sent us a long email. “I woke up fresh and energetic, turned things over to my CEO (God)… I decided that I was not going to “push” to “make” anything happen.” [Her bold print]

Results? Before the end of that day, key people either returned her calls to book or called prospects on her behalf to fill the appointments for her! A big client contacted her to book four trainings. She hosted a successful event that afternoon plus found a perfect venue for a board member retreat following an unsuccessful month-long search.

If you hold onto how you expect life should be, what a person should do, or what’s supposed to fulfill you, you not only limit yourself but block your success and create unnecessary pain and suffering.

It pulls you away from the present moment and foists you into an imagined future of potential disappointment, discouragement, frustration, sadness, anger, or helplessness.

The beauty of the present moment is that it opens you to what’s in alignment with your soul. If one way doesn’t work, there’s a reason. Something better is available… if you allow it into your world.

Instead of longing for what mighta, woulda, coulda or shoulda been, notice the gift of accepting what is.

Anticipating the best instead of expecting specific outcomes makes your words more powerful and opens you to results designed for the highest and best interest for all. It’s an important lesson, and I invite you to consider it in case it’s making the difference between creating difficulties or catapulting you to greater success and abundance.

TIP:  4 Ways to Get Unstuck

Identify where you feel stuck. Feeling stuck is an emotional response that can leave you feeling there’s no way out. Instead, you can find a way to untangle yourself from whatever has gotten you balled up and take productive action. Here are four alternatives that can help:

  1. You’re frustrated because you’re trying to control the outcome by expecting it (or people) to be the way you think it should. Alternative: Relax and anticipate this or something better will occur. Stop trying to micromanage the world. This opens you to tune into new ideas and directions.
  2. You’re beating yourself up with regrets or other limiting thoughts and emotions because of your situation. Alternative: Release judging you, others and your circumstances. Replace it with an empowering perspective that you’re learning, and all is in divine order and timing.
  3. You’re focusing on how things aren’t working. Alternative: focus on what you choose and the good feeling mojo it creates. Good feeling mojo is what opens you to manifest more quickly and with grace and ease.
  4. You’re pushing to make things happen. Alternative: Stop resisting (and exhausting yourself about) what is and allow things to be the way they are. You getting fussy about it won’t change it or help. Let go. Let God. Set new goals for what you choose. Take action from this perspective.

When you shift your energy, you allow life to create miracles and successes beyond your wildest expectations.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER IN 3 SECONDS

January 14, 2013

Ever start your day with dread? You don’t know how you’re going to get things done. Worried about what your spouse, boss or kids are going to say or do. Wondering how you’re going to get more money.

You may not mean it, but haphazard musings create intentions that cascade throughout your day. If you begin your morning with fear, anxiety or lack of direction, life will present you with a smorgasbord of experiences to match.

December was super busy for me. I launched my days thinking about my To Do list, random thoughts, what happened yesterday… just anything. The results were a crisis a week that miraculously got solved – but what a roller coaster ride.

I had taken a break from what I know works – quiet time to go within and consciously set intentions. As the year rolled in, I realized it made sense to take three seconds to say:

I CHOOSE TO BE IN DIVINE FLOW.

I often add a few extra game changers such as divine order, timing, financial abundance, grace and ease or whatever inspires me.

A couple of weeks later I noticed how everyday had been astounding. I was still busy and successful yet not overwhelmed – as long as I remembered to choose to be in divine flow. I also noticed that if I didn’t react but instead let situations play out, even things that appeared to be two sandwiches short of a lunch were fulfilling.

It’s mind boggling to think that something so simple can manifest such profound results.

Imagine going to a ticket counter at a train station. If you hop on any train you could land in an urban jungle. But divine flow is different. You’re allowing the life force to guide you, surrendering control to a Master Planner who has your best interest at heart.

If you question that life is supportive, consider these words from Einstein:

“I think the most important question facing humanity is,’Is the universe a friendly place?’ This is the first and most basic question all people must answer for themselves.”

“If we decide that the universe is neither friendly nor unfriendly and that God is essentially ‘playing dice with the universe,’ then we are simply victims to the random toss of the dice and our lives have no real purpose or meaning.”

“God does not play dice with the universe.”

Your life isn’t random. You’re not a victim. You have the ability to consciously design your life with the divine.

Discover this co-creation by running an experiment. Choose to be in divine flow daily for two weeks. Not just any flow – not your neighbor’s or that of people at work. Divine Flow. Affirm with an attitude of faith not desperation. If you forget in the morning, do it later. I’ve now included it as a non-negotiable way to start my day, right up there with going to the bathroom.

Now it’s your turn to “row, row, row your boat gently down the stream.  Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily. Life is but a dream.” It’s a dream you’re creating.

CEO MEETING WITH THE DIVINE

October 2, 2009

Do you have challenges that leave you clueless about what to do? Wouldn’t you rather live life on your terms?

My challenges started to multiply and became too numerous and complicated to solve. I felt disheartened as I trudged through them step by step.

How could I get large accounts to pay past due fees they ignored? What would it take to heal my hip that went out and created a painful limp? How could I complete a frustrating project that left me wishing Scotty would beam me up and free me of my misery? And the list went on.

It was time for an elixir that brings results – a CEO meeting with the Divine.

I wrote my needs and asked God for help. Miraculously, everything that was wearing me out got resolved, most by the next day.

Checks finally arrived; my hip suddenly healed; people stepped up to help me complete my projects; and much more – and I felt great!

Call this power and love, which exist beyond our human understanding, God, the universe, or whatever is comfortable to you. Just know that the biggest and most savvy CEO of all is available upon request to help you.

  • This CEO supports your success, loves unconditionally, and never sleeps.
  • This CEO knows you are worthy and deserve receiving results in divine right timing… regardless of what you’ve done in the past; how you’ve screwed up;  how confused you are; how inadequate you feel; how much you doubt or are angry with a divine source; or how big (or hopeless) your problem seems.
  • This CEO invites regular communication and collaboration, so forget about the idea that you don’t want to bother God with the small stuff.

You can worry until the 11th hour before letting go and asking for supreme assistance. But why wait until life gets out of control when an all-knowing, caring, hands-on CEO is on-call 24/7?

Asking for divine intervention welcomes miracles into your life.

Problems? God’s seen them all and already knows the way out of any situation. So, why not ask for help? You’ve got nothing to lose by working in conscious partnership with the Divine, and everything to gain.

Ask and it will be given. That’s called a clue. You have to ask.

Even people who resist journaling say they look forward to these CEO meetings. You can take your problems to your Divine CEO and receive phenomenal results, too.

TIP:

CEO meetings with the Divine work great even if you feel completely stuck.

There is no right or wrong way to have your CEO meeting with the Divine.  Just talk with God.

  • Written meetings help to create greater clarity and overcome fear.
  • Write on your computer, paper you’ll later shred or burn, or in your journal. If your focus is emotional, hand-written communication is far more effective.
  • Good grammar, spelling and handwriting don’t matter.

Any way you choose to communicate works. However, I’ll share ways I’ve had CEO meetings.

  1. Initially, my board meetings began with an overview of my current status: what’s working in my business and life; what I’ve done.
  2. Next, I pinpointed where I chose to have help and asked for it.
  3. Now, I write whatever comes to me: my feelings; questions; what (or who) is bugging me; or pour my heart out.
  4. Sometimes I make checklists of what I’m asking for or just brainstorm ideas.
  5. Brief requests are effective. “Dear God, Help! So be it.” Or simply, “Help.”
  6. These words work: “I surrender this…” “I choose to…” “I’m open to receive…” “I ask for this or something better.”
  7. I give thanks. Gratitude is easy when you see problems miraculously disappear.

This technique works so well that it’s habit forming… and what a good habit to have.

The more you believe this can work and are open to receive, the easier results come.

Say good-bye to worry and challenges. Invite the best CEO to work with you, on your behalf.

Don’t settle for living in silent desperation.

You can live life on your terms, but don’t take my word for it. Got challenges? Choose to create your world in collaboration with divine flow. Have your CEO meeting with the Divine and find out for yourself.
