Black Friday Oscar the Grouch Special

November 27, 2015

Oscar peeping out of trash can (2)

Can you relate? You’re basically a happy person. But lately, a part of you has been turning into Oscar the Grouch because you need a change.

Put another way, what once felt like treasure, now for one reason or another, is starting to feel like you’d rather trash it. Things aren’t working the way the way you choose.

  • You can no longer deny you want more cha-ching action.
  • Your prized clients/job disappeared, turned weird… or never made it from your dreams to reality.
  • Your ideal business and life are somewhere over the rainbow, and you want your pot of gold now.
  • You feel like you’re stuck in Oz and don’t know the way out.

Ready or not, it’s time to move on. But where to and how?

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Anais Nin

While writing my Thanksgiving gratitude list, the unexpected appeared:

  • People are struggling to understand what’s going on in their lives.
  • They’re spinning in circles trying to figure things out on their own.
  • They feel stuck or don’t know how to break free from where they are.
  • They’re losing confidence and belief in themselves.
  • People could use more clarity and direction.

Offer a Black Friday Special.

I felt like I was receiving marching orders. The information kept coming.

They need help. Focus the sessions on solutions to their challenges.

How much? Use the power of 7s. For a 1 ¼ hour session, their investment is $77. I got out my calculator. That’s over a 60% savings!

As people are out-of-town for the holiday, appointments can be scheduled until Wednesday, December 2nd and completed this year.

After enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends, I forgot about what I’d written yesterday. I don’t believe I’ve ever done a Black Friday Special before. This morning, it occurred to me to read my notes.

“I take action by following through with my inspiration and guidance.” Mastermind Principle #3

The message was clear. I’m taking action. I invite you to take action if this is for you. Virginia@TeamingWithSuccess.com

If you’re tired of wishing on stars and hoping for life to change, contact me to schedule your Black Friday Special.

Sessions are by phone. Credit card payments accepted.

If you feel this might be for you, I invite you to listen to your nudges. “Just getting to know me,” current and former clients, whatever your history, are included.

I look forward to supporting you in your choices to break free so you can share your gifts with the world in a bigger way. If you’re wondering if you have any, YOU are a gift.

Feel relief as you discover solutions. Take care of yourself. Be heard non-judgmentally. To schedule your Black Friday Special, email me at  Virginia@TeamingWithSuccess.com

There’s someone who’s supposed to get this message. I’m curious. Is it you?

One more thing. This is getting funny for me. I thought I was complete, and this popped in to add: please share this with those you feel might benefit.

This may be given as holiday gift certificates for you or others.

Gratitude Creates Good Feeling Mojo

November 23, 2015

GratefulWhatever you focus on grows. So that you don’t blow to smithereens your good feeling mojo, let’s start where the land mines are buried.

If good feeling mojo was your lover, would these inspire your sweetheart to run to you with gifts of money, love and health or get blasted back to an undesirable past?

  • Fussing up because people are idiots, things are complicated and your career or business deals aren’t working… again.
  • Wanting money but complaining that the system is rigged so it’s hard to get.
  • Can’t figure out why God has broken His promise to you because of what’s happened.
  • Feeling worried until you get the next doctor’s report.
  • Thinking repeatedly about how someone has done you wrong.
  • Looking for satisfaction while blaming, complaining or things being infuriating.

Money, love and health aren’t found on the pity pot vibe (Oh, and I’ve unsuccessfully tried so hard to be saved from mine.)

Misery loves company. Regardless of what you say you want, if you’re sending silent messages of struggle, suffering and sadness, your energy would bring you more of the same… more of what you feel but don’t want.

If your business or life mirror a Looney Tunes episode, don’t look for the bogey man. Instead, start with good feeling mojo every day.

You can change how you feel by changing your perspective.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Oprah Winfrey

Once, when my life had fallen apart, I couldn’t feel grateful about anything. I was separated, depressed, and in no mood to focus on business.

Gratitude. Interesting concept. The end.

However, I heard a story about someone who went through hard times, and being grateful was her magic key. She climbed out of the hole she was in, got a great job, new friends and turned her life completely around.

Hmmm, okay. I decided to give it a try with no clue of where to begin.

Suddenly, lost in thought about “woe is me” while walking through a greenbelt at dusk, I snapped out of my trance.

Stories from the news popped in my head about snipers on roof tops in a war torn country. They killed people who had to run across an open space to get water.

But, I had zero concern about my physical safety. I had basic needs. Water. No bullets or bombs threatened me. Roof over my head. AC when it’s hot and heat when it’s cold. I was alive. There was so much to appreciate, however I didn’t see it because I was looking in the wrong direction.

I woke up to gratitude and the blessings of how people were there for me. Even though much wasn’t working, a lot was. So, I redirected my focus to where I could find gratitude. I began to feel better. As I did, my life got better, too.

“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.” Willie Nelson

If you’re looking for an abundance of business, money, love, support or health, focusing on what’s working will bring you more of what’s working.

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” Eckhart Tolle

TIP: Gratitude Creates Good Feeling Mojo

Especially  during this time of giving thanks, take time to reflect on what you’re grateful for. The more you’re grateful, the more good feeling mojo you create. The more good feeling mojo you have, the more success you experience.

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” Buddha

By the way, if you or your friends would be grateful for support in creating good feeling mojo, message me for a free Do What You Love Break Free Session.

TIP: Quotes To Inspire You To Live Your Dreams

November 17, 2015

In your teens, life is in front of you. You feel that you have all the time in the world with infinite possibilities. As you get older, time and potential carry a different meaning.

Recently at a party, I listened to several people’s life stories. In retrospect, they shared how they spent their years while inhabiting planet earth.  There were times devoted to their professions, characters met along the way, and relationships/sagas with family and friends.

Currently, all of them were following an inner impulse, even though they didn’t know how or where it would lead them. One didn’t relate to “retirement” and took action on a marketing idea. A mom decided to get out and socialize with new people. Another creatively discovered solutions to projects.

What about you? Whatever you’re experiencing now is both an all-encompassing, attention grabber for you as well as part of your book of life that you’re writing.

In this moment, you’re literally writing this chapter. Its foundation is built upon your vision as well as how you interpret what you’re seeing, the emotions you feel, and actions you take.

The great news is that you can complete this chapter and design the next any way you choose. There are key elements to have your results match your intention which include:

  • Believe in yourself
  • Surround yourself with supportive people
  • Get clear on what you choose – your dream and direction
  • Stop trying to figure everything out in your head first
  • Let go of limiting beliefs
  • Take a calculated risk on you and your dreams
  • Create a momentum of energy through action

Virginia’s TIP: Quotes To Inspire You To Live Your Dreams

It’s never too late to fulfill your cherished desires. Your journey and destination may look differently from what you thought. However, you have a dream in your heart for a reason. Following are quotes to help you live your dreams:

“If you ask the ‘how’ question before the ‘what’ question, all you can ever hope to create are variations of what you already have.” Robert Fritz

“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” Martin Luther King Jr.

“Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” –e. e. Cummings

“Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” –Mark Twain

“You can’t outwit fate by trying to stand on the sidelines and place little side bets about the outcome of life. Either you wade in and risk everything to play the game, or you don’t play at all. And if you don’t play, you can’t win.” –Judith McNaught

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” –Steve Jobs

“Do the one thing you think you cannot do. Fail at it. Try again. Do better the second time. The only people who never tumble are those who never mount the high wire. This is your moment. Own it.” –Oprah Winfrey

“Often the difference between a successful man and a failure is not one’s better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on his ideas, to take a calculated risk, and to act.” –Maxwell Maltz

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” –Michael Jordan

“Don’t be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible.” –Cadet maxim

“We are condemned to live out what we cannot imagine.” Thomas Moore in Care of the Soul

“Life is a ‘choose your own ending’ book- you can take whatever adventures you want.” Erika Towles, Age 12

Your Ship Didn’t Sail – That Wasn’t Your Ship!

November 10, 2015

Ever feel that your ship has sailed?

Aka, you missed your opportunity. You blew it. Circumstances are stacked against you, and now what? Humpty Dumpty can’t be put together again. Do not pass Go because your life is one big frustration that’s taking a nosedive from a high diving board into a shallow pool.

Forget this mental noise. Dump all these beliefs because they’re so not true.

You can bounce back from wherever you are, only not in the way you probably thought. (It’s a blessing although it may not seem it.) There are other financial opportunities. That wasn’t the only person or deal in the world. You’re not too old or too stupid. You can get out of a hole if you stop digging.

Despite appearances, there are more ships at YOUR port. You’ll see them if you stop looking at the ones that left.

The universe isn’t limited and neither are you! Life isn’t designed for you, your business, your choices, and the loonies to be perfect. Life is designed for you to grow and expand. This is how shiFt happens.

You have countless chances.

If your dream “ticket to paradise” was eaten by the dog, or you screwed things up so badly that there’s no turning back, different but better opportunities are waiting for you. And you’re all the wiser because of it.

We learn; we move on. Exit stage left the drama king or queen in us who plays the victim as we beat ourselves up or feel sorry for ourselves. Our good takes its bow on center stage as we open and are willing to receive something better.

So, if you missed my talk last week (or would like to hear an even better version), you can see me plus network at NWABC – Northwest Austin Business Connections – this Wednesday, November 11, 11:30 AM – 1 PM.

That’s where you’ll hear my presentation: From Burnt Out to Turned On – Be Richly Compensated Doing What You Love Faster and Easier than You Dreamed Possible!

Come to Mangia Pizza in Gracy Farms Shopping Center 12001 Burnet Rd., Ste D • Austin, TX 78758

http://www.nwabc.net/ has more details.

I’ve relaunched my life so much, often like a phoenix rising from the ashes, that I lost count of the times I rebooted emotionally, financially and physically. I’m sure you’ve had your share, too.

Lao Tzu said: “New Beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.” Got it?  They aren’t failures. In the words of former Navy Seal Richard “Mack” Machowicz: Not dead. Can’t quit.

If not for one of the seemingly endless, painful times of my life, I would neither be coaching nor writing you now. My experiences gave me new direction. They groomed me to do what I do well and draw on my history of accomplishments more meaningfully.

What gifts did your challenges bring  you? Learn more about my story and how what I discovered can help you find your other ships by joining us this Wednesday.

TIP: Your Ship Didn’t  Sail – That Wasn’t Your Ship!

The stories you tell yourself about your business and life are what create your feelings of loss, failure, frustration, suffering… or success.

To see the bigger picture with a more positive viewpoint, look back to a time when things went you-know-where in a handbasket. What good came from it?

No, don’t think about last week’s mishaps or unresolved issues you haven’t been able to wrap your brain (or heart) around.

Look back far enough so you have the benefit of hindsight without the emotional charge.

If you’re stuck, instead of tuning into your defiant side, ask the wise part of you for perspective.

Learn. Be confident knowing that life is on your side. Good comes out of seeming bad just as fire brings necessary ecological change. Google “benefits of fire” if you doubt this.

How has your business or you emerged better for it? What ships did you board instead? If you can come on Wednesday, hearing about mine may put yours in perspective.

TIP of the Week: How A Client Is Making $43K This Month

November 3, 2015

Here’s a great (and profitable) update on a recent TIP: How To Make Your Life What YOU Want.

It started like this:

“During his short ride to the office, a client’s daily routine was looking for annoying drivers. After starting the day with this momentum, his attention shifted to work.”

“When asked to share recent business success, his reply was, ‘It’s hard to find wins…mostly going backwards.'” He was working on deals, but they were filled with complications and some looked like they’d fall apart.

“He recognized his perspective wasn’t helping and reframed it. He continued working on the deals but let go of the emotional stress and negative attitude.”

Successes TWO weeks later, a partial list sent to his mastermind team:

  • Partnering with another agent on a $1.7M listing. The other agent is the lead. I will get 30%, which equals a $550K listing for me.
  • I expect to close 6 transactions in November for $1.8 million. One closing set for December.
  • Listed a home for $199K on Friday…expect to sell this week, which would be added to the December closings.
  • Got two buyer referrals the past two days from past clients.
  • November take home will be around $43,000!

He turned his business around when he:

  1. Stopped complaining, feeling discouraged and fighting against what he didn’t like.
  2. Got quiet, went to a clear space within and discovered new solutions.
  3. Believed his deals would work and he’d be successful.
  4. Looked for what was working instead of dwelling on what wasn’t.
  5. Aligned his thinking and feelings with mastermind team support and concepts.
